Glimpses Of 1966 Charity Ball In Middletown
The Middletown Charity Ball edition named Le Grand Ball drew about 700 attendees to the Manchester Motor Inn Senior Ballroom. The event featured topiary trees and obelisks for a formal, festive atmosphere with Cecil Young's Orchestra playing big band tunes. Collegians and alumni returning home for holidays renewed acquaintances as couples danced through fast numbers and slow dances alike.
