Nineteen CB friends honor Terri Myers known as Tippy Toes
Terri Myers a 12 year old cancer victim nicknamed Tippy Toes inspired a large CB radio community in northwest Atlanta area. CB friends formed the Tippy Toes club raising over 7000 dollars for medical expenses. Police fire and naval base units escorted the funeral and offered a rifle salute and helicopter flyover.

FDA panel finds OTC cold remedies fail to cure or shorten colds

Arena roof collapses injuring fans in New Brunswick game
In St. Basile New Brunswick a portion of the arena roof collapsed during a hockey game. Thirty seven people were hospitalized in Edmundston for injuries, none critical though several had broken bones. About 800 attended. many left at intermission leaving around 100 still inside. Eight were released after treatment.
