Hubert L. Lee, a 47 year old Medal of Honor recipient living near Mount Clemens, Michigan, has been hired by William R. Plummer’s welding firm for its electrical department after years of unemployment and a $167 monthly Army pension. Lee earned the honor for leading a 46 man platoon on six charges up a Chinese hill in Korea on February 1 1951. The action left 83 Chinese killed and 200 wounded.
