An AP report says a navy Convair carrying Paul B Fay Jr. and family ran off a 3000-foot Atlantic City runway after electrical failure and sank into the Great Thorofare. All eight aboard were rescued. Cmdr. William A Golden suffered a broken ankle, others released.

Boy Slayer Due For Arraignment

Daryl Moss a 15 year old honor student faces arraignment on murder charges for the slaying of his parents in Weaverville California. He reportedly confessed after arrest and stated he hated his father and mother. A young woman beaten during the incident is hospitalized and the boy was sent for psychiatric observation.

Burie L. Dye, 47, of Windham, died from an electric shock while working with a well drilling rig near Windham, about 12 miles northeast of Ravenna. Dye was a father of 10 children.

GREENVILLE Ohio AP four persons were killed when a private plane, a Cessna 172 with registration N 7158 T, crashed on the William Baltes farm off Ohio 185 near Brock in Darke County. Boy Hangs Self After Scolding in Cleveland

In Cleveland, 12 year old Alfred B Dressman Jr. hanged himself in the basement with a scarf tied to an overhead pipe after being sent to the basement for talking back to his mother. His father returned from work and the boy greeted him before disappearing again. The coroner will determine the cause of death.
