Hillside Strangler Victim Found in Forest Near Angeles Crest
Los Angeles detectives debunk speculation that the Hillside Strangler killed Cindy Lee Hudspeth inside her Glendale apartment. The 20 year old was found nude in the Angeles National Forest, her body in the trunk of a car pushed from an embankment on Angeles Crest Highway. Police caution the pattern matches earlier killings, noting Hudspeth lived across from another victim and that a neighbor’s remarks fueled rumors of an inside job.
