Ohio bill on tax reform to boost school funding faces hurdle

Education Chairman Boggs plans Thursday action with high hopes for a favorable vote, while the Ways and Means panel will review the bill after education panel approval. The plan includes per pupil subsidies tied to district costs and a funding equity aim, potentially requiring a constitutional amendment.
