Most of the United States experienced milder weather with a few exceptions. Snow covered eastern slopes of the central Rockies while western Nebraska faced stockman and traveler advisories. Freezing drizzle and fog affected the Midwestern and Gulf regions with temperatures ranging from 3 to 72 degrees.

Ohioans woke to near spring temperatures with readings from the upper 20s to low 30s as a high pressure ridge from New England to the Gulf of Mexico brought warmth. A new cold air mass from northwestern Canada will reach Ohio by Tuesday with light snow in the north and light snow or rain elsewhere, though temperatures won’t drop as sharply as last week.
The forecast shows cloudy, colder conditions with light snow chances in northern areas tonight and Tuesday. Temperatures dip into the upper 20s to low 30s tonight, rise to the upper 30s to low 40s Tuesday, then cool again midweek with mixed rain and snow possible north and rain south. West Virginia and Kentucky see cloudy to mild or chilly conditions with scattered snow flurries and highs in the 30s to 40s.
