Community pitches in to rescue 3 pups from 2-foot well

In Knoxville Tennessee neighbors and volunteers rallied to save four week old German Shepherd puppies from a two foot well. W C Brooks of Knoxville Volunteer Rescue called the effort unprecedented and estimated 499 man hours plus equipment value. The last pup was pulled to safety, muddy but unharmed, after a long rescue operation.

Kosygin, Thoman Discuss Johnson appeal on arms race
