Rate Cuts Proposed For Over 65s By Blue Cross
Blue Cross officials in Southwestern Ohio propose rate cuts up to 66 percent for members over 65 with Medicare and Blue Cross policies. If approved, effective July 1, the standard 70 day contract would drop from 6.65 to 2.25 monthly, with other policy rates also reduced. The plan covers the first 40 hospital bills not paid by Medicare and up to 15 a day for hospital room and board outside the United States.

Scout Career Clinic Slated
A career clinic for Explorer Scouts will be held Saturday February 26 with a visit to Miami University in Oxford. Sponsored by the Pokey Griffith District Explorer Cabinet the event offers campus tours meetings with admissions and counseling staff and attendance at a college wrestling match or swim meet.
