Middletown Baptist Temple relocates to Manchester Road

Middletown Baptist Temple moves from 119 S Main St to 3200 Manchester Road on the site of the former Berea Baptist Church. Pastor Clarence Edwards says the small congregation of about 40 members prompted the move to a facility more suited to its size. The new site was vacated by Berea Baptist after its members joined Trinity vy Lee Temple following their pastor's move. Edwards says expansion is hoped for in the future and invites contact through the temple’s existing phone number. Meanwhile, Jesus of Nazareth plays to five Wednesday noontime Lenten services at downtown churches with witnesses and staged jury deliberations on whether Jesus should live or die, followed by a luncheon.
