Franklin Board withdraws Wilgus contract offer
In Franklin, the Board of Education, in a rare special session, withdrew the five year contract offer to Superintendent Albert Wilgus after he reportedly declined the deal. Three members voted for withdrawal, one abstained, and the president criticized the session as improper. The issue arose amid controversy over the chosen Cincinnati architectural firm tied to a new high school. February action remains required under Ohio law to clarify Wilgus’s status for the coming year.
