Patras Area Quake Leaves Thousands Homeless and Damaged

A 5.8 magnitude quake struck western Greece near Patras injuring one person and leaving several thousand homeless as hundreds of buildings collapsed or were damaged. The epicenter was in Aitolokarnania with towns Ano and Kato Makrinou leveled and government-supplied tents and blankets dispatched to the stricken region.

Midnight Move for Liberty Bell Draws Thousands
