Journal reporter Jeri Izor rode the final run of Ortman-Stewart buses with Chester Poff on bus No. 88 along Broad and S Main streets. Poff, 66, began driving in 1926 and plans to stay with Ortman to drive charter buses, lamenting the end of an era as the empty city street reflected on the closure.
