Times Square New Year security raised to cover land sea and air

New York officials outline a multi agency plan for New Year's Eve security in Times Square with patrols on foot from helicopters and watercraft. The operation centers at 1 Police Plaza with 70 senior officers monitoring dozens of cameras. High tech gear returns from the Republican National Convention including a helicopter with HD cameras and infrared tracking. Manhole covers welded shut mailboxes secured and flight restrictions in Manhattan. Edgewood superintendent injured by identity theft reveal
