Trenton Council completes year-end business delays annexation
In a special session sparked by a quorum issue, Trenton Council approved a memorandum with AFSCME District 51 for five village employees and authorized $25 for land plus $150 for fencing damage to obtain a curb and gutter easement. A $300 donation from Baltimore and Ohio Railroad was placed in the safety fund. Annexation of a 25 acre tract near Keith Avenue and State Street was postponed due to absent members. The land is owned by Herman Land, Gene Blosser and Harold Dance. Other actions included reinvestment of $20,000 in treasury bonds, holding $20,000 for street project bills, renewing a $5,000 blanket bond for village employees, transferring funds to cover deficits, and paying $7,645.17 in bills.
