President Tito of Yugoslavia may be invited to visit the United States. Authorities think Tito, a Communist leader who broke away from Soviet control, would accept an invitation from President Eisenhower. Titoism resurges in the West after Hungary and Soviet rift.
Charles Edward Ranels once on the FBI ten most wanted list was arrested with Opal May after a raid on a rural Dewdrop grocery store near Pine Bluff Arkansas. Ranels faced bank robbery charges in Kentucky and Arkansas and an Arkansas indictment for a 1956Monticello loan incident. Opal May admitted a 1943 robbery arrest in Fort Worth Texas.
