Lebanon Warned Of Fire Insurance Rate Increases
Lebanon officials warned last night that fire insurance rates may rise unless equipment is upgraded. Ohio Bureau of Inspection official J. W. Ritter said a new inspection could change rates. Lebanon now holds a Class 1 rating but faces possible relief if it replaces a 37 year old pumper and adds ladder gear for three story buildings. A drop to Class 7 could lift rates for mercantile and residential properties. Council awarded tree trimming and tractor contracts and moved the next session to Dec 29 at 12 30 p.m.
