Butler MRDD levy passes with 1 mill replacement
The pro levy group Friends of Citizens with Disabilities spent thousands on advertising and rally supplies from carried forward funds. Voters approved the 1 mill replacement by 87 824 to 62 018, generating about 3.5 million dollars yearly for 1 850 clients countywide. In the campaign’s final month the group raised 384 and spent about 5 800 on ads and related costs.
