Invalid Uses Cane To Fight Off Dogs
In Miami Florida a semi invalid man used a cane to fend off two German shepherd attack dogs that mauled his wife Hazel Nordell and a visitor Angela Paul as they opened a back door to the dog's pen. The dogs were fenced and trained by Paul’s son. Mrs Nordell was hospitalized with facial and head injuries and Mrs Paul sustained injuries while helping. The incident occurred at the Paul home and neighbors described the man as barely able to walk after the struggle.
