Subsidy Program Aims to Sell Rehabilitated Homes Low

The plan provides subsidies averaging up to 4000 dollars for 400 houses to be rehabilitated. Grady notes costs often exceed moderate income, with target prices around 15000 to 16000 dollars but actual costs above 19000 dollars, and subsidies will bridge the gap to market the homes at the lower price.
