Cleveland School Board Found Guilty of Segregation
A federal judge ruled the Cleveland school board fostered racial segregation in city schools and that Ohio’s Board of Education failed to correct it. In a 200 page decision Judge Frank J. Battisti said the board violated pupils’ right to equal protection by creating and maintaining a segregated system. The State Board of Education cannot escape responsibility.

Scientists pinpoint a precise landing site on Mars Utopia Plain for Viking 2 to touchdown Friday near Mie crater about 125 miles west. Resin beads blamed for Hanford plant blast injury spill
