Twenty RSVP volunteers begin first year in Butler County

The Middletown Journal notes about 20 volunteers serving in Middletown Hamilton Oxford and Union Township in the first year of RSVP under Counseling Service of Butler County. Biographer Burns to pen analytical Kennedy biography

Pulitzer winner James MacGregor Burns will write an analytical biography of Edward Kennedy for W. W. Norton & Co. The work, releasing next spring, will not rely on inside information about Senator Kennedy's 1976 political plans. Burns previously won the 1971 Pulitzer for Roosevelt and authored John F. Kennedy, a Political Profile.
