Trolley study on Luling Bridge wind effects planned
Tulane professors Dr. Hugh A. Thompson and Dr. Robert N. Bruce Jr plan a wind study on the cable stayed Luling Bridge under construction over the Mississippi River. They will use a trolley car on a high track to measure wind velocity and bridge movement to inform future designs.
