Eight sky divers drown as Lake Erie jump goes wrong

Eight veteran parachutists leaped into overcast, 58 mph winds above Lake Erie. Two survived, 14 remained missing as Coast Guard and military teams hunted through the night. Two bodies recovered, including Patricia Lownsbury, wife of a diver. Many lacked flotation gear and one jumper, Michael Thiem, had warned he disliked the jump.

New Drugs From The Sea Hinted By Scientist In Rhode Island

24 Hours Underground Shelter Test Under Civil Defense Study
