Labor Festival Plans To Be Polished Tomorrow
Final plans for the second annual Labor Festival sponsored by United Organized Labor of Butler County will be completed at a Thursday 7:30 p.m. arrangements committee meeting in Union Hall Hamilton. The three day Labor Day weekend event at Butler County Fairgrounds expects 15 000 attendees with rides games and refreshments. Activities include Midwestern Hayride personalities on Saturday and Sunday at 8 15 p.m. and a fireworks display plus wrestling on Monday night. Local labor groups from Cincinnati Dayton and nearby communities will assist along with Middletown and Hamilton fraternal groups. Parking control is by the Council to Aid Deaf Children of Miami Valley and donations at Rt. 4 will support children in the area.
