House John and Phyllis Jordan Built at 472 Lebanon St
John and Phyllis Jordan transformed a white frame house in Monroe into an expansive personalized home. Green cedar siding, a large stone chimney, a front planter, and an interior with stone walls, a French provincial to Spanish American bedroom, and a custom above ground pool reflect his design vision. The couple extended the pool deck, added a terraced rock garden, and installed a black paneled bar under the back porch, finishing with bold orange accents. John, formerly a machine shop worker at Armco, now concentrates on wallpaper changing as his full-time project.
