Monroe sewer extension eyed eastward to Warren County
The Monroe project may extend the trunk sewer east into Warren County to serve Ohio 63 and I 75 businesses, the Lebanon Correctional Institution, Otterbein Home and Armco Park. A supplementary study, funded by six landowner checks totaling 3049 dollars, will be done by consulting engineer ees Eiffert, with EPA approval needed for area inclusion. Delays due to winter and hard rock push the design completion 3–4 weeks past the September 22 target, but costs are under the original estimate. A September sewer bill with a substantial rate increase is to be explained by a council letter.
