Ohio Fair Aims For Record Two Million Attendance
Gov. James A. Rhodes announced the Ohio State Fair targets two million attendees and more funding for junior fair exhibitors. He predicted a $15 000 top steer prize as the livestock sale becomes a centerpiece for 4H and FFA youths. The 12 day exposition opens August 21 with new features and a portable grandstand on the east side of the race track.
