Methadone Centers Expand to Aid Ohio Heroin Addicts
Ohio's six methadone treatment centers aim to curb crime and drug use by providing daily doses and rehabilitation services. Executive administrator Thomas Walker says 1,500 currently treated out of an estimated 30,000-40,000 addicts. costs are low and planned expansion will add education, training, and more centers over two years.
