Fairfield teacher dies suddenly in pregnancy tragedy

Fairfield middle school teacher and girls soccer coach Christy Dennis died after sudden brain bleeding caused by an undiagnosed acute leukemia. Seat belts cited for drop in highway deaths

Transportation Secretary Norman Mineta said 42,643 people died in traffic crashes in 2003, down 362 from 2002, with deaths per 100 million miles driven at 1.48 the lowest since 1966.
