National Guardsmen Withdrawn From Dayton Duty
Gov. Thomas J. Herbert ordered National Guard troops removed from duty at the Univis plant in Dayton after four days of maintained order. Adjutant General Goble said withdrawal would occur between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Today, as production and office staffing fluctuated, the governor praised the troops and noted a planned conference with Mayor Lohrey to arrange further talks.

Plane Crash Killing Ten Under Navy Inquiry

Show Goes On Tigers Claw Trainer At Shrine Circus
In Jackson Michigan AP report Mrs Ma bel Stark a 60 year old trainer was clawed by three of eight tigers during a Shrine Circus act in front of 4000 spectators. She treated for shock and deep bites but refused hospital. The tigers began fighting after she started her routine and a newly added tiger attacked as she tried to separate them. She continued the show for eight minutes before collapsing after leaving the cage.
30-Ounce Baby Cries Lustily
Cincinnati AP report notes Dr Samuel O'Krent pleased by a 30-ounce baby girl born two months early at Good Samaritan Hospital incubator. He says her lusty cries are a good sign though survival chances for such a small infant remain guarded. parents are Mrs Jack Chandler.

Collie leads search to found boy trapped in fence
Three year old Jerry Huffman, missing since 6 PM yesterday near Philo, was found at 7 AM in a wire fence with a foot caught and neck entangled by a grapevine. He lay naked and nearly unconscious in 55 degree cold, after his collie Laddie guided rescuers to the area. Local residents swarmed the cornfield edge as his father Dan Huffman and neighbor Charles Wickham followed tracks. He was taken to Bethesda Hospital by a Methodist minister.
