Ohio enacts state fire code and 10 member research panel
Governor Rhodes signed six measures including a new state fire code with a 10 member research commission to study safety recommendations. The code, effective November 1, imposes a 1000 dollar fine or up to six months in jail for violators. the governor appoints the commission.
