Lions Present Radio To Vets At Dayton Hospital
The Middletown Lions Club gave a portable radio to Dayton's Veterans Hospital so blind patients can hear Cincinnati Reds play-by-play during games. Irvin Turvey of 307 Vanderveer St reported $42 in articles stolen from his car including a German automatic pistol valued at $32 a $5 camera flashgun and a $5 hunting knife after a Monday night parked in front of his home. Shelby Wilkinson of Franklin Route 2 said a truck driver did not provide his name after an accident at Verity Pkwy and Central Ave last night. the vehicle allegedly struck the right rear fender of Wilkinson's car.
