Architect Lester Cohen uses open planning in a three bedroom ranch to blend living and dining rooms while maintaining private sleeping areas. The layout, with a 24 by 22 foot expanse and a rear terrace, blends indoors and outdoors and includes a prep kitchen and dinette with multiple exposures.
An article warns fatigue drives accidents in workshops and at home. It lists safety reminders including remove loose clothing, avoid multitasking, wear goggles, guard blades, store oily rags properly, avoid gloves with tools, keep drawers orderly, shut off power before edges, and follow manufacturer ventilation guidance.
