Christian, 20, dies after cancer battle and spirit endures
Shirley notes Christian died Monday night and will be buried today after battling three cancers since infancy. His family and educators recall his faith and resilience. He was 8 months old at diagnosis, treated for neuroblastoma, later brain cancer, with surgeries and relocations to Texas for care. He was school homecoming king and received Lions Club honors while supporting other kids with cancer. He urged others to keep faith and help others, even as he faced death with courage.
