Posthumous Gold Bonnet Honor Given to Billie Burnett
The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary awards the gold bonnet posthumously to Billie Burnett for 25 years of service. The presentation was delayed by a serious car accident and Burnett’s health. Fellow members and Burnett’s friends received the pin, with Burnett’s daughter to inherit it. A list of auxiliary officers and a guest speech by Captain Ralph Joyce highlighted the meeting.
