William Keenan, a 44 year old fugitive from an atomic blast threat, has settled with his wife and four children in De Borgia Montana. He builds an “atom haven” restaurant and living quarters in timber country while farming water and supply needs locally. Keenan left New York in 1946 seeking safety and space away from city life.
