House of the Week Large Family Spanish Styled Home
A new design, Design 893 by architect Herman H. York, targets large families with a spacious modified Spanish exterior and child friendly interior. Second floor houses three bedrooms for complete privacy, a shared second floor bathroom, and a firemen’s pole for quick downstairs access. The main floor features a living room, dining room with a private terrace, a large family room with a play area, a snack bar between kitchen and play space, and direct access to porches. The layout includes a rear terrace, mud closet, laundry, and a two car garage with ample storage, emphasizing a home designed for children and family activity.
