Area Safety Council Def traffic course offered in Middletown
Middletown motorists may join a defensive driving course offered by the Area Safety Council. Qualified instructors will conduct sessions April 21 23 28 and 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Civic Association conference room. The eight hour program costs 4 and covers driver awareness and safety films. Enrollment is limited to 30 participants on a first come first served basis.

Rabies Test Slated On Dog That Bit Boy In Williamsdale
A black shepherd dog bit 10 year old Danny Smith and officer Robert Font in Williamsdale. Deputy Howard Cook was forced to shoot the dog at 8:50 p.m. The dog was killed and taken by Dog Warden Orville Akers for rabies testing. Mercy and Fort Hamilton Hospitals treated the boy and officer.
