Glenns Name To Stay On Ballot In Ohio Senate Race
The Ohio Supreme Court kept Lt Col John H Glenns name on the Democratic U S Senate ballot, granting Ball time to plead further. Glenn, plagued by a head injury and inner ear issues, said he would not run even if nominated. Ball sought to have Glenns name blacked out and votes for him invalidated. Final action will depend on Ball's response. Glenn entered the race Jan 17 and planned a March 1 Marine Corps retirement to campaign.
