City to authorize 200 gas heating units this year
Arch Robison of the Gas and Electric Service said Cincinnati and Middletown will allow 3 500 new gas heating units in the two areas under an Ohio Public Utilities Commission modification. About 200 go to Middletown with half reserved for medically necessary cases and the rest for new buildings under construction by September 1 1948. The plan relies on new gas facilities and additional supplies from The Ohio Fuel Gas Company and other sources.
