Rudolph Plea Deal Connected to Atlanta Olympic Attacks
Rudolph described a plan for a larger attack using five bombs and calls timed across days. He admitted bombing a gay nightclub in 1997 and a suburban abortion clinic site in 1997, wounding six, and hid in western North Carolina for years before capture in 2003. The plea included surrendering over 250 pounds of dynamite and elicited expressions of remorse from his victims’ families and eyewitnesses in court.
