Man Endures 20-Day Self-Imposed Ordeal in Tar Hollow Forest
Wilbur E. McConnaughey, 38, found near a youth camp after a 20 day stay in Tar Hollow State Forest with minimal food. He weighed 112 pounds on rescue, had been missing since March 18, and survived frostbite while surviving in a cabin near a highway. Doctors described his condition as fair and dehydrated.
