Frozen Skin Breakthrough Cuts Burn Recovery Time
In Boston doctors at a joint skin bank report that six month frozen skin packs, treated with glycerol, thaw quickly and graft well. Since 1970 the method has eased shortages and cut hospital stays from about 71 to roughly 35 days for burns covering 25 to 40 percent of body, saving pain and money.
