Secretary of Commerce Charles Sawyer told the University of Cincinnati Business and Professional Men's group that business should remain good through 1981 barring war or crippling strikes. He noted current production matches history’s peak quarter and unemployment figures offer no cause for alarm. He warned a drop in plant investment could limit future jobs and emphasized maintaining a sound profit driven system with high wages.
