The death of 20 year old Clarence Daniel Fisher at Watkins avenue extension followed a toy pistol cartridge explosion. The wound led to lockjaw and tetanus despite medicine and disinfectants. Fisher died after being taken to the Middle hospital where doctors treated him for the infection.
Denver officials disrupted a Ku Klux Klan meeting at the Denver auditorium after orders from BR. W. Means, Commissioner of Public Safety, caused authorities to eject about 10 attendees. The event was called to organize the Klan activities.
Andrew J. McCullough of 27 Hill Street, longtime foreman at Middle Town Works on Wisser Avenue, has purchased the foundry and machine shop of FLW at Pike and Randolph. He will take over a new plant on July 5, moving from Erie Street works.
A pedestrian named Terie as Heshiest he Tame was struck by an unidentified vehicle. The incident prompted police to investigate the hit and run with no suspect description available at this time.

Newburgh June 28 Mathew Jones a cho and W fireman of Middletown was acquitted by a jury in Judge Wiggins Coin here of a charge of an attempted statutory crime oil of Issault in the second degree. The verdict was returned at 6 10. The charge arose from complaint by ten voters of Wallkill who alleged Jones tried to assault her last April.

Two firemen were injured during a blaze at the Merri wall Stationery Company on East Main Street.
