A local woman Mrs. Marry Rathban of 360 North Street suffered a fractured jaw and severe facial lacerations after a head on collision near the Otterkill Creek bridge. Two Goshen men George Crummey and Edward K Finan narrowly escaped death when their touring car overturned and struck a stone wall near the same bridge. Several other accidents caused injuries and machine damage in the Goshen area.

The deceased was a member of Port Jervis Nest of Owls.
Mr and Mrs C E Shoemaker and son Billy with Mr and Mrs A Huggins of this city visited Miller Huggins in New York to watch the Yankee Indians game at the new Yankee stadium. Billy Shoemaker received a baseball signed by all Yankee players and shook hands with Babe Ruth. Manager Huggins was presented with a bouquet of roses by Cincinnati Shriners.
