Oscar Gardner of Omala Rhode Island accepted Broadway Athletic Club's offer to box Sally Smith on March 8 for a 1000 pound purse. Gardner will train in Wanses City, weighing in at 118 pounds the night of the bout.

Hollidaysburg Pennsylvania reports the death of Thomas H. Lewis a well known hydraulic engineer and contractor who built reservoirs for Hollidaysburg Gaysport and County Home. He was president of the Actna Mining Company and secretary of the Nuata Canister Company and connected with other industrial firms. He died yesterday of blood poisoning aged 43.
David Verpluek, appointed to examine Arthur Palmer who killed his father, mother, and sister at Maak encek on January 26, found Palmer insane after testimony from Dr. Marness of White Plains and Dr. Pninter of Vierna ranvel.
A Stamford parishioner notes that the Rev Belin declined the church’s entire salary offer. The salary at St Johns Stamford is stated as higher than what he would receive locally.
