Six robbers boarded passenger train No. 55 at Vandeventer avenue in St Louis last night. Two held up the conductor and brakeman while two covered the engineer and fireman. The crew stopped the locomotive at Bates street crossing and the express car door was blown open with dynamite. the safe remained locked by a time lock and the robbers escaped after firing shots.
