Bishop Green Attacks Nichols Decision

In Washington DC a Bishops Council session faced a split over Bishop D Ward Nichols. Bishop Greene proposed abolishing the Judicial Council and convening a General Council to overturn its ruling. Ten bishops condemned Greene for disrespect to church law and voted against his resolution. The Judicial Council had restored Nichols to status quo, making him un-suspended and presiding bishop of Florida. Nichols agreed to move to the 16th district for peace.
